Sad and Pissed Off

The state of on-line poker today really makes me sad. Everything is so much more difficult now and it is taking all of the fun out of playing poker. It is hard to deposit, hard to withdraw. I have money tied up in different sites, money tied up in Netscape.

And the biggest worry is the uncertainty of it all and the possibility that it will get worse before it gets better. If it does get better.

I was complaining about all of the above to Mrs. Wolverine and I was lambasting the Republicants for pushing through this nightmare. She asked me if I would feel the same way if I weren’t playing online poker and I had to admit that I probably wouldn’t care. She went on to name a number of our friends that either don’t know about state of on-line poker right now or, if they do know, don’t care. Mrs. Wolverine says the majority of America either doesn’t know about the On-line poker troubles or just don’t care about them.

Sadly, I believe she is right.

The thing is, I am playing and I do care. I think I care more about this than any other issues that have been pushed through congress in the last 30 years.

And it really pisses me off.
